The Gold Coast’s favourite annual contemporary arts festival is the BLEACH* Festival. It’s a fantastic event, and they’re celebrating their 12th year with a more extensive program this year. The festival happens from August 3 to 13 at various Gold Coast locations. However, they have a new hub at the Broadbeach Cultural Precinct.
The Broadbeach Festival Hub features over 20 acts ranging from rough diamonds to hidden pearls, river concerts to global music, cabaret, and party queens. It will be a fantastic night out from August 10 to 12 with something for everyone.
Catch Ma’p Boulé, a dramatic Cabaret about an immigrant youngster growing up in the land of Australia. Nancy Denis tells amusing and poignant anecdotes about her struggle to accept her Black, Queer, Haitian, and Australian identities. What about a sarcastic, darkly humorous cabaret set during a disastrous children’s beauty pageant? In this startling and funny hour, The Pageant uses physical comedy and original music to cast the audience as contestants and overbearing showbiz parents.
How about some Emily Lubitz music? An evening spent with Emily Lubitz is an emotional trip that transforms you with silky tones and lyrical skill that cradles your heart and hits you directly in the chest.

2023 Pacific Airshow Gold Coast
Pacific Airshow® debuted in 2016 in Huntington Beach, California, and has swiftly grown to become the most popular airshow in the United States. And there are now two versions of the airshow on the Gold Coast.
Prepare to head to Surfers Paradise for 4+ hours of nonstop action. Yes, after one act concludes, the next begins! The Pacific Airshow will take the skies over the Gold Coast annually, with the inaugural event from August 18 to 20. The Pacific Airshow Gold Coast is a family-friendly event that hopes to become a must-attend annual event for residents and visitors alike in SE Queensland!
